Licensed and Certified
I am a licensed home inspector in not only one State, but two. I have met and exceed the standards set out in both NY and CT. Both States have some of the strictest laws, and some of the most difficult licensing procedures.
In addition to this, I am also an interNACHI Certified Professional home Inspector. As a full member of InterNACHI, I am required to have extra training, extra continuing education, and to be held to a higher standard. All of this means that I am better equipped than most home inspectors to find issues and help you understand them.
Experienced
I have also been through the construction process as a home owner from excavation, to foundation, drainage, to roof and completion.
I have been on the labor side of the construction process. From demolition, to digging and installing drainage, framing, siding, roofing, installing widows, building decks, and much more. I understand the building process and know how the pieces go together.
This experience has always given me an edge over other home inspectors.

I am local to the area and I have spent decades working here in CT and NY. I know what our homes go through here, what the issues are, and where to find the problems.
I have integrity with everything I do. I communicate easily, answering and return phone calls, emails, and texts. I enjoy what I do, and am happy to take the time to explain the inspection upon completion, and the weeks that follow.
